Mini-project 4: Making your own samples

In this project, you’re going to try making music by recording samples and messing with them like we’ve explored in this module.

• Watch the tutorial on how to use Audacity to record sounds or chop samples
• Import those sounds into Tidal, following the tutorial
• Make a song using the samples you recorded. You’ll want to use tricks like
  • granular synthesis with chop, striate, randslice, and grain
  • randomization with scramble and shuffle
  • controlling length and pitch with loopAt and speed

in order to build your track.
